Transportation from Arlanda Airport to Stockholm

Arlanda Express from ARN to Stockholm Central Station

Train departs from ARN every 10-15 minutes (Read more here). The train stops at Arlanda Norra (Terminal 5) and Arlanda Södra (Terminal 2, 3, 4) and goes nonstop to central Stockholm. Transfer between terminals is free. Travel time is about 18 minutes. How to travel from Stockholm Central Station see next page. The metro and commuter trains are located below the Central Station.

2.Chose tickets for Arlanda >> Liljeholmen. Boarding at Terminal 8 at bus stop 8 towards Liljeholmen. From Terminal 2/3 at busstop 5 towards Liljeholmen.

3.Bus stops at Karolinska Sjukhuset Eugeniavägen, right outside Aula Medica.

4.Return to ARN with the same route.

Travelling to the meeting with Stockholm public transportation, SL

1.Download the SL-app. Stockholm uses digital tickets purchased via the app, or at the station. Tickets cannot be bought onbuses.

SL commuter trains to Stockholm Odenplan (or Stockholm City)

SL commuter trains (Pendeltåg) are located at Arlanda Central under SkyCity, between Terminal 3 and 4. Stockholm Odenplan is the nearest commuter train station to KI Campus and Carolina Tower, with a 10-minute walk. Commuter trains are marked with (J) and the north exit from Stockholm Odenplan is marked on the first map, use Exit/Utgång Vanadisvägen. Transportation with metro from city center

Metro (Tunnelbana) is marked with (T) and the central hub is called T-Centralen. All metro stations are marked with different exits labelled as “Utgång” on the platforms.

From T-Centralen to S:t Eriksplan with green line T17, T18, T19 towards Hässelby Strand, Åkeshov and Alvik. The exit at S:t Eriksplan is at the back end of the train “Utgång/exit towards Torsgatan”. From S:t Eriksplan Campus Solna is about a 10-minute walk, otherwise there is buses from bus stop Karlbergsvägen with line 3 towards Karolinska Sjukhuset or line 6 towards Karolinska Institutet.

Transportation with commuter train from city center

Commuter trains (Pendeltåg) are located below the metro at T-Centralen, commuter station is called Stockholm City. Commuter train are marked with (J).

From Stockholm City to Stockholm Odenplan with all northbound commuter trains towards 40 Uppsala, Upplands Väsby, 41/42 Märsta, 43/44 Bålsta, Kallhäll. Use the north exit at Stockholm Odenplan called “Utgång Vanadisvägen”. The exit is located on the first map.
